The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja for the ruling by the court on his request for bail.
He was brought to the courtroom by fully armed stern-looking operatives of the Department of the State Service, DSS, around 10:12 am.
Dressed in his designer Fendi attire, Kanu was welcomed into the courtroom by Mike Ozekhome (SAN) who is leading his legal team.
Though, looking unruffled, one of his senior brothers wept after hugging him for close to a minute to exchange pleasantries.
After the exchange of pleasantries with his relations and lawyers in the courtroom, the Biafran leader, beaming with smiles opted for photographs with his sympathizers.
Meanwhile, Justice Binta Nyako is expected in the court to deliver a ruling on the bail request.
The judge had on April 8 fixed today for ruling after Ozekhome had pleaded with the court to admit his client while Federal Government lawyer, Shuaibu Labaran, raised vehement objection on the ground that Kanu was a flight risk and has a history of jumping bail to escape justice.
